If you do have a concern, in the first instance please raise it with your child’s class teacher. More often than not, that resolves issues. In some instances, you may need to escalate your concern in which case the following procedure should be followed:
- Raise issue with class teacher. If this does not satisfy your concern, move on to step two.
- Raise the issue with the relevant phase leader. For EYFS see Mrs Rimmer; For Years 1 and 2 see Miss Pile; For Years 3 and 4, see Mr Johnson, For Years 5 and 6, see Mrs Hooper. They can look into your concern with a bit more detail. If that does not resolve the issue, move on to step three.
- Raise the issue with the Deputy Head, Mrs Golder, who will listen to your concern and review what has been done in response so far and identify appropriate next steps. If this does not satisfy your concern, move to step four.
- Make an appointment to speak with the Headteacher, Mr Read. If after that your concern has still not been satisfied, he will be able to advise you on further action.
